Beatlemania

London came calling with its Beatles-inspired trends for fringes (styled a different way every season), with even Jadwiga Grabowska convincing her assistant Jerzy Antkowiak to get a mop top  haircut like the boys from Liverpool. Their style filtered down into the language, with Beatlesówki (brimmed caps) and lenonki (round, Lennon-style specs) taking over the local lingo and the fashion scene.
