The fashion press

The world’s major fashion and lifestyle magazines had always been a source of inspiration for Polish women. After the fall of the communist regime, it was finally time for these international titles to have Polish editions.

In 1994, Hubert Burda Media launched the Polish edition of Elle. Other global titles followed suit, including Harper’s Bazaar (published by Marquard Media Polska) in March 2013, featuring the Polish model Małgosia Bela on its cover, one of the world’s most recognizable faces in fashion.

Five years later, she once again ushered in the launch of another major magazine – this time of Vogue in 2018, alongside fellow Polish supermodel Anja Rubik.

The most successful homegrown fashion publication on the Polish market is Twój Styl (Your Style), founded  in 1990 by Krystyna Kaszuba.
