Statement Style

Slogan t-shirts have been around in Poland since the 1970s, serving as a manifestation of values or political sentiments. The most evocative logo of 20th century Poland is certainly that of Solidarity (Solidarność), which was splashed across banners, posters, stickers, t-shirts and pins during Poland’s fight against the oppressive communist regime. These t-shirts, most often paired with blue jeans or a denim jacket, were the most powerful statement style of the times.
